  2. [M1] Equating their dy/dx to 0 and using a valid method to arrive at 2 answers.
  3. [A1]
  4. [B1] OE
  5. [B1] If d²y/dx² evaluated the answers for both must be correct OR Clear use of change in sign of dy/dx correctly for both B1's.
  6. [B1] Allow < and/or ≥. FT only from special case x<-1/4, x>11/4. Condone: 1<x<1/2.
