About Oracle Prep

Oracle Prep is a study platform for Cambridge O-Level and A-Level (and Pearson Edexcel) students. It was founded and is run by Hassan Chaudry. This page explains where our material comes from and how it is made, so you can judge how far to rely on it.

Past-paper questions and mark schemes

The questions on Oracle Prep come from past examination papers, more than 3,000 papers covering over ten years of exam sessions. Each question is labelled with its syllabus code, paper, variant, session and question number so you can check it against the original.

Where we show a mark scheme, the marking points are taken from the official mark scheme for that paper. Questions and mark schemes remain the copyright of the exam boards. Some questions depend on a diagram from the original paper; where we can't show the diagram, we say so and link to the paper.

Study guides on the blog

Blog guides are written by the Oracle Prep editorial team with AI assistance. They are organised around the syllabus and past-paper questions. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.

How topic forecasts work

For each paper, the forecast looks at how often each syllabus topic has appeared in past papers, giving more weight to recent sessions. It ranks topics by how likely they are to come up.

A forecast is a guide to where to spend revision time, not a guarantee. Exam boards set papers to cover the whole syllabus, so every topic can appear.

AI marking and its limits

When you submit a written answer, an AI model marks it against the mark scheme and explains which points you earned and missed. It is a practice tool: it can be wrong, and it does not replace a teacher or the real examiners. If a mark looks wrong, check the mark scheme points shown alongside.
