In the diagram below the boxes on the left contain the names of organs of the human body. The boxes in the middle contain the names of chemicals produced by these organs. The boxes on the right contain descriptions of one function of each of these chemicals. Draw lines to link each organ with the chemical it produces and to link each chemical with the description of its function. One line has been drawn for you. Draw five more lines. [Figure 1 (Diagram showing three columns of boxes labelled 'organ', 'chemical produced', 'function of chemical'. Boxes in 'organ' column: salivary gland, liver, pancreas. Boxes in 'chemical produced' column: bile, insulin, amylase. Boxes in 'function of chemical' column: conversion of glucose to glycogen, conversion of starch to maltose, breakdown of fats in the small intestine. A line is drawn from 'salivary gland' to 'amylase' and from 'amylase' to 'conversion of starch to maltose'. Empty boxes for liver and pancreas, and bile and insulin.)]
