- M1 for converting the inequality to -5 leqslant 2x - 3 leqslant 5 (or equivalent two separate inequalities, e.g., 2x-3 leqslant 5 AND 2x-3 geqslant -5).
- M1 for solving at least one part correctly (e.g., 2x leqslant 8 ⇒ x leqslant 4).
- A1 for -1 leqslant x leqslant 4. (cao)
